  1. Gustavo,

Thanks for all of the information.

I did have a couple of issues that I had to overcome. The first that stopped my process was encountered when I followed your step for running the P958974, pressed Add, filtered DV910 – values displayed but DV910 did not exist. There were actual DV910 records, but the screen showed it as not valid. My solution was to run P0094 to create the DV910 record; which allowed it to align with the already existing detail records.

    Thanks for the guide!
All works fine, but maybe you've found why BI Publisher login page always shows?

    Best regards,

    1. Hello Pavel,

      I appreciate your comment.

Well, maybe it's because a demo version and the authentication works this way. Please let us all know case you find a solution for this.

  8. When you want to install Oneview Reporting: Why do you recommend downloading the Trial version and not Oracle BI Publisher 11g Enterprise? What is the difference.

    Thank you

    1. Hi Anonymous,

I just recommend the trial version because I'm installing in a Demo environment. If you want to install in a real production environment I suggest you to check with your Oracle sales representative to check about the licenses costs, etc.

    1. i fix it ... simply:

      - sign of JDE (web and fat client)
      - Start JDE
      - Delete the record you created in P953000
      - create the record again in P953000 as mentioned in the Tutorial
      - Delete the record you created in P954000
      - when you are in application "P954000" and once you press the populate button, don't press OK now, type the passord (demo) in the grid below over the astriks, go one line down and then press OK

      - restart then both JDE and Publisher
      - open P03b2022 and make sure that OneView exit is there
      - now import the zip file using "P982402|ZJDE0002" in the fast path not through the menu

i think this is what i did, the entire problem is in apps P953000 and P954000

      Good luck everyone

  14. Hello gustavo,

is there add report in demo version ?

like add report button in ovr with bip trial ?

  15. Hi,

How this OVR stored in Weblogic and database. I am upgrading from XE to 9.1 and My servers (JAS/ Enterprise) are in Active - Active mode. How I am going to make OneView reporting as active/active means if my one server goes down user can get the OVR from second server.

    Any thought on that.

    Thanks,
    Amar

  20. Gustavo,

Firstly thanks a million for this great tutorial. May God bless you !! :)

I was able to successfully install E1 , BIP and OVR on 9.1.0.1 - exactly as per your tutorial.

However, when I install Standalone 9.1.3.3 and BIP I get the same error that Shobana has reported "No data to display" on the executed/run OVR report. The application grid does have data before the OVR is run, but somehow the OVR report doesn't get it on execution. I tried deleting the Soft coding record to see if it helps, but it didn't. Looks like BIP doesn't get the data on the call. But if I open the report in design mode it does get sample data, so don't know why BIP doesn't get data at runtime. Any thoughts/inputs will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    BIG JdeFusion Fan

  21. Tks Gustavo for the effort made in this guide, It will help us a lot. I'm getting the same message "No Data to DIsplay" when I tried to run some reports. I believe that the models (JDE templates) could be pointing to the wrong datasource... Since I'm not an BI expert, I will keep searching for a way to fix this. Tks!
